formentorFormentor is a peninsula that extends northeast of Port de Pollença.
Its extreme point, Cap Formentor, meets precisely with the bay of Pollenca forming 6 km of beach bordered by a pine forest, which reaches the emerald waters that characterize it.

In this fascinating place had the good fortune to stay famous people, like the great British statesman Winston Churchill.
It’s most famous beach is Formentor Beach, 14 km from Port de Pollença, characterized by a series of mountains at the end of the bay and golden sands.
It’s reachable by public bus, by car and also with the ferries that depart from April to October from Port de Pollenca.
The position is extremely exposed to the wind makes it one of the most suitable for windsurfing in Mallorca, and, on clear days, from Formentor can be seen in the distance the island of Menorca.

The peninsula of Formentor is also a privileged location for the so-called bird-watching, allowing you to enjoy a variety of endangered species.
