Es Caló de Sant Agustí – Ses Platgetes
The north-central part of Formentera is not the most suitable for swimmers, because of the steep and rocky coast and strong winds that blow from the north.
The best creeks in the area are certainly Es Caló de Sant Agustí and Ses Platgetes.
The first is adjacent to Es Caló, a small fishing village – and is surrounded by rocky headlands, the sea is crystal clear, and the bottom consists of sand and rock, making the bay very suitable for diving.
The landscape is very fascinating, but apart from the natural beauty the area has much to offer visitors, so that for any need you have to reach the village of Es Calo, in contrast, has a couple of the best restaurants of all the island.
At about 300 meters of Es Calo de Sant Agustí Ses Platgetes find a pristine sandy beach with a beautiful turquoise sea, a small kiosk in the vicinity provides the necessary refreshment.
There is a bus stop about 50 meters away.
