Llevant beach

Submitted by

platja llevantTo the north of Formentera stretches the peninsula of Trucador, a narrow strip of land that contains the most spectacular beaches of the island and perhaps of all the Balearic Islands.

Going up the side of the peninsula, just behind the natural area of Saline, meets Platja de Llevant (“Llevant Beach”), a virgin beach, exceptionally beautiful and large dimensions.

The sand is white and fine, the sea always clean has such a clear light to look like a swimming pool, nearby, also, there are kiosks and you can rent umbrellas and hammocks.
Despite all this, the tourist presence is important but without ever coming to excess, thus leaving the viewer a feeling of this place untouched; be noted that – among other things, this beach is loved by nudists.

Platja de Llevant, also known as “Tanga“, named after a popular restaurant and bar located at the entrance is very close to the other side of a beautiful beach, the Platja de ses Illetes enough to be called “the twins” .
