Cala Saona beach

The beach of Cala Saona is located in the western part of Formentera, a few kilometers south-west of the capital Sant Francesc Xavier, and it is certainly to be counted among the most beautiful and popular.
Despite its small size – not greater than 200 m long and 140 wide – this shore is characterized by the quiet and picturesque natural beauty that surrounds.

The outdoor area is surrounded by a lovely wooded area, an ideal place to stroll and relax in the shade of pine trees, the bay, fine sand, opens between two groups of red cliffs on a magnificent bay, whose waters are a striking blue.
From the coast the view is spectacular: the particular place of light and the contrast between the color of the rocks and allow you to see a picture postcard, that suggests the luxuriant hills of Ibiza and the coasts of the islands of Es Vedra and Ex Vedranell.

Cala Saona is also well equipped for your comfort and relaxation, the hotel of the same name is located just behind the beach, on which are abundant restaurants, kiosks, comfortable chairs and umbrellas to rent.

The bus stop closest to the beach is 100 meters.
