Despite the small island you can still decide to turn it into freedom by renting a car. In Formentera there are several car rental companies, while only two petrol stations, located in the capital, Sant Francesc Xavier and in Sant Ferran de Ses and Roques.

Renting a car requires a valid driver’s license, passport or identity document and, in most cases, a credit card for the deposit of the security. The minimum age required by the car is – usually – 21 years, but sometimes even 23 or 25 are required, even according to the power of the car you intend to rent.
